Hey everyone, my name is Joaquin Ramirez, and I am the graduate student specialist for TRIO STEM-H. I am in my first year in my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. I have a particular interest in research in Positive Psychology, with regards to VIA character strengths and its effects on mindfulness and well-being. My goal post graduation is to be a LPC with my own private practice, with the hopes of eventually pursuing a PhD in Counseling Psychology. I’m excited and looking forward to working with all of you. I’m hoping to mentor a few psych students as well!
