STEM-H SSS Grant Aid

A limited amount of grant aid is available to provide financial support to students who need it. All you need is to meet the grant aid eligibility requirements.

STEM-H SSS Grant Aid Eligibility Requirements:

To be eligible for grant aid, our funding regulations require that you:

Be an active STEM-H SSS program participant
Be in your second semester of college or later
Be enrolled full time (12 hrs or more) for the current semester
Be in good academic standing and maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher

Selection:

Students will send their transcript, resume, and fill out some questions on essay form.
STEM-H SSS staff will review each participants file to see if they meet the eligibility requirements for the aid.
Judges will place high value on the student's essay and resume, so keep them sharp!

Aggie Cupboard

The Mission of the Aggie Cupboard is to provide free supplementary food assistance to the NMSU community

CARE

Concern Assessment and Response (CARE) Team’s goal is to identify and respond to students, faculty or staff who may harm themselves or others on campus or who may simply be struggling and in need of assistance and resources

Emergency Fund

The Aggie Emergency Fund provides limited financial assistance to eligible, currently enrolled NMSU-Las Cruces students who are facing urgent, unexpected expenses.
